Design of Linear PID Controller for Pure Integrating Systems with Time Delay Using Direct Synthesis Method

چکیده

The pure integrating process model with dead-time is inherently an unstable open-loop system. This paper presents a 2-DOF (2-degree of freedom) PID controller, based on the direct synthesis (DS) method, to improve set-point tracking and load disturbance rejection performance for processes time delays (PIPTD) models. controller consists linear rejecting in regulatory response filter relieving overshoot servo response. DS method comparing desired closed-loop characteristic equation equation, consisting plant controller. adjustment parameter only one constant, roots placed at same location, constant was expressed as function maximum magnitude sensitivity (MS), providing convenience selection constant. proposed simulated by applying it three other conventional methods, demonstrate its effectiveness applicability.
